Big commission that has kept me busy the past week.
A group of sketch commissions by Cody Martin of his human races in his custom campaign setting for the Pathfinder RPG.
Fun to work on and a good little test for making diversity in people, shout out to good commissions and nice commissioners!
I have open slots for commissions if you are interested just shoot me an email!
“What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet or excite you. Books help us understand who we are and how we are to behave. They show us what community and friendship mean; they show us how to live and die.” — Anne Lamott
UGH I’ve literally wanted a library since I first saw beauty and the beast.
Disney movies in order of historical setting
(Excludes most of the package films. Some films, eg The Lion King, are impossible to pin down exactly and some, like Aladdin and Treasure Planet, are anachronistic, so these are estimations. A few have been split into 2 if there is more than one time period in the movie, and sequels have been put together.)
You guys! Today is PUBLICATION DAY for my new picture book called HUG MACHINE!!
That is right! HUG MACHINE is out today in stores all over the place. This is incredibly exciting for me because this will be the first picture book in which I have both written the words AND drawn the pictures. An exciting milestone, my friends.
HUG MACHINE is the story of a child who is super down with hugging. He is the self-proclaimed Hug Machine and he is very excited to tell everyone about it. He is very good at hugging and he is not shy to show the world. He is ready for you to watch how amazing he is at hugging.
You can read more about this at PyramidCar.com
And if you want to print out activities for your kids that are all about the Hug Machine, you can go to HugMachineBook.com
NeSpoon is a street artist from Warsaw, Poland. Her artistic focus is on the intricate patterns of lace, and breaking its granny stereotype by using it to beautify gritty urban spaces. NeSpoon calls her artistic approach the “jewellery of the public space”:
Jewellery makes people look pretty, my public jewellery has the same goal, make public places look better.
NeSpoon often uses the usual spray paint and stencils of enlarged lace patterns to produce her works on the street via

new painting I made! I really need to learn to space out my posts more, because I posted all my old work one day after the next, and then poor bloggy had to wait until I made a new piece.
I was actually quite nervous to put a butterfly in this. To me, butterflies are a contrite symbol of female delicacy. That’s why it had to be big. Its not intentionally a piece about feminism. My desire to be powerful and beautiful, like nature itself, is reflected here. Sometimes you can’t help but to use art as wish fulfillment.
I just slept for 10 hours and I could probably keep sleeping….
Oh man, I’ve been like this all week. I just wanna sleep all the time.
Same here, friends. I’m tired all day. What is going on?
I blame the heat
